This blog is for a "requirement" in our English IV, introducing Fangirl's Domain. Here is a collection of entries of my daily life experiences and perceptions about certain issues. [Note: This blog won't be updated very often for I don't have the time to net always.]
My Sweet Sixteen Experience Sunday, August 17, 2008
Well, I just turned 16 last August 15. Haha, I feel so old already. Yuck.. :3
My entry today will be about my week-long experience for my birthday, starting last Monday, August 13. Panicked for Panic at the Disco Right now, I'm watching Panic at the Disco's videos in YouTube. Kill my multitasking ability today, my hands are shaking, I swear! Anyway, what happened this day was that I gave my best effort, as in VERY BEST EFFORT, to pursuade my mom to allow me to go to the concert, even though Jerice will not go with me. Actually, since the week after the UPCAT, I've been telling her to allow me. She will allow me if and only if, Jerice will be allowed. In addition to that, I can only buy my VIP ticket if I can show her Jerice's ticket, in which I think, is very impossible to do. And so, I wasn't able to go. The next day was our PT 1.2, the first day. I won't talk about much about my PT because I didn't do so well. When I was about to go home, I realized, why not go to The Podium if I won't be able to go to Araneta? And so, I told Jerice to go with me to the Podium the next day, just tell me beforehand if her mother allows her. When I reached home, I texted my mother right away that Jerice was allowed to go to The Podium or something like that, regarding our "appointment with Panic" on the said place for the autograph signing. But since I'm very honest, I told her that Jerice is not allowed yet. Then, blah blah blah. When my mom returned home, she was very pissed. I asked her about my permission to the Podium. I can't get a decet answer because of her mood so i just waited a bit (while watching Myx's Take 5 presenting Panic at the Disco). She went out of her room and I talked to her, finally. It seems that I'll be allowed but then something unexpected happened - she asked me what time we will go. I answered that it might be 4 in the afternoon (*sings* 'Cause it's Nine in the Afternoon~). After some moments, she suddenly said "You won't be able to go there in time if the concert is 6 pm!" And I got all pissed and all. I Will Never Write Sins and Tragedies August 14 - After the PT, I talked to Gen regarding my mom and how I sunk over the Panic thing. And I was crying by then! I'm such a crybaby. Then, my classmates, my loving classmates, saw me and asked why I'm in such state, but I just said that it's personal because it's such a childish problem. After some minutes, Jerice appeared, asking if I want to go to the Podium. I said, of course, that I want. And so we decided that we'll go, without much money in hand. Unfortunately, Jerice wasn't allowed by her mom to go. And so we didn't go. Since I can't catch a ride to Maragondon, I decided to go home. Pity me. TT^TT I kept pursuading my mom to allow me when I reached home. It's very tiring. I even attempted to go on my own. Tsk, it'll be one big mistake, I know. XP A Day Before my Birthday Shocks! It's very embarassing! I didn't know that there are no classes and I went to school. Tsk, tsk. Nothing much interesting this day. Just y journey to the school - alone and going home - spending an hour waiting in the jeepney. The Big DAY~ Hm, well, I went to Maragondon first, to celebrate the feast. Haha! That's how I do my birthday during the last four years of my life (haha!). I just spend my four hours at Tin-anne's house. We did a little walk around the town and went back to their house. We even called Virgil! Yay! How I, and not just me, miss that guy. By 3:30 pm, I went to Naic to fetch Jerice. We went to SM afterwards. We ate in Tokyo Tokyo then, went to watch WALL-e. Yay! It's such a good movie. I won't be telling spoilers here so just watch it! :3 My birthday was fun, I think. Though my mom did not allow me to the concert, I'll have her spend 4K in exchange to that. Hahaha! Such a vain-y daughter. :3 My mom promised me to buy The DVD of House, M.D. in Oddysey. it's just P600! Wahaha! I need to have a copy of that! Even the Season 3 of that! Bwahahaha! Actually, I want Chuck more, but there's none so stick with House! Yay! My POST Birthday Jerice and I went to IPB for Research. When we had our lunch, we saw Kuya Jed and Kuya Jaykim (whome Jerice called Kuya Ilong because she can't remember the name at the time) at IRRI, eating lunch as well. Of course, they were with their friends and classmates. When we are about to return to IPB, I greeted Kuya Jaykim a simple "hello po" (though, I don't know him really) and he returned it with, "Bakit may po?" Haha. What a simple encounter. Hm, we reached Pala-pala by 9:30 pm when we went home. We decided to eat in Mi Ga Korean Restaurant but the foods there are made out of diamond! They're expensive. So we went to Cowboy Barn - where the food are made out of gold. Tsk. We shared the expenses so yeah, end of story. Haha. Conclusion My birthday is fun, all in all. I'll just continue to watch the videos. Haha. Envy is filling my body. Haha! And my fingers are tired because of typing to much. Gah. Last entry for the quarter. Too much complains Tuesday, July 29, 2008
"People are born to please nobody." So, what's the topic for today's entry? You see, these days, there are many people who have been complaining about what's happening around and the people around them. And I see no difference. First thing first: Today, we had our UPCAT review at school. (Please bear with me that I won't mention some names.) Before the review started, I'm talking to Kathleen about the "war" between *censored* and *censored*. She, too, has no idea so I started asking some N people. And so, I learned about the truth behind the "war". I just don't really get why they need to do such things (the calling and the hacking). I mean, it's very insulting for that person. I was quite pissed with what they're doing. If they only know what it feels to be in that person's position. Tsk, tsk.. If you'll look at the logical part of the case, that person didn't really do something bad. So what if they "stole" the research? It's not like they'll die if they almost have the same research. Duh, that's why it's called research. You can change the variables you're using. It's worse if the person is using the same variables as yours, but they're not. Be sensible enough, please. Stupid people. Secondly: The jeepney drivers have been complaining about the passengers. I mean, what?! Why would they complain? I know that the gasoline has been pretty (or super) expensive, at least there are still people who would like to ride on their jeepneys, am I right? Tsk, it's really bad. >.> Lastly: The VAT that our president discussed in her SONA. Why would people complain about the VAT? Value added tax is what keeps the government and its projects come to life. If there'll be no enough tax, the government will not have a way to fulfill its projects for the citizen, right? *sighs* We really can't help but to complain. But at least, let us do something more productive than to complain. It's sickening. So sick... Thursday, July 24, 2008
Waah!!~
I'm sick. I don't wanna have colds anymore. It's very surprising to have colds while you're sleeping. Tsk. And whenever I have colds, I'll have nosebleed. Tsk. It's a very bad situation, you know? And I don't really like the taste of blood. Waaah!!~ Stupid colds. Anyway, we're in UPLB today. We'll be here until Sunday for our research. And since we (or I is the right term?) failed to have another polymorphic primer/marker (if you don't know what that is, just never mind it. Haha!), I need to conduct a PCR again tomorrow. And that's soooo boring... and tiring. I don't know, but a part of my hand (the thumb part and the part below it) is hurting everytime I'm using a pippettor. TT^TT *sad* Oh well, I just happened to surf the net. And we always do whenever we are in UPLB if we're staying. XP By the way, UPCAT is near. My schedule for that is on August 3, in Imus Pilot something. Hahaha! And 12:30 pm!! Oh my... So late. >.> Good luck for me!! Hahaha!! XP Of Pens and Nosebleed? Tuesday, July 08, 2008
We just had our first periodical test for the first grading today. Tomorrow's the second day. And what can I say? I almost had a nosebleed earlier. Haha! just kidding. As if I'll have. No way it'll happen.
The exams are, uhm, quite easy and hard. I can hardly tell for I just guessed most of my answers there. Haha! It's really easy to guess! You can't expect many things about me. I just had a headache last night. My eyelids were getting so heavy that I can hardly read the Story of Oddysey. *sighs* I know I'll fail... again. I always do. You can't tell me that I don't take school that seriously. Wait- You're wrong in that point. It's just that, I'm not in the mood. Haha! [And when will I be in the mood? *laughs*] Hm, I'm listening to Jim Chappell's compositions. Such magnificent work of art. Gosh. I don't get sick listening to Gone. It was the song played on our Music time that we had to make an "impressionistic" art. Hahaha! More with JC's music, it's very, uhm, undescribable.. for me. I don't know, I really enjoy listening to it. You should try also, just click on the playlist on the side navigation. ^^, You'll like it too. Haha! The reason I surfed the net today is so that I can look for an article for sports. Unfortunately, I can't find any of those personalities. What the heck?! It's really hard to find that kind of person. *sighs* Help meh~~ TT^TT Haha! Instead of looking for sports article, I looked for a story of Cupid and Psyche as well as the "whole" Romeo and Juliet act. You see, I recently got addicted with Romeo and Juliet because of the anime Romeo x Juliet, another must-watch anime. Gosh! Anyway, I'll post sensible entry next time. Haha! What's with Emos anyway? Wednesday, July 02, 2008
I decided to make a blog entry about Emos.
So let's start the talk... (since I don't have anything to do, blame it all to Michael, tsk) What's is Emo anyway? Let's consult my free encyclopedia bestfriend, the Wikipedia. Emo is also often associated with a certain fashion. The term "emo" is sometimes stereotyped with tight jeans on males and females alike, long fringe (bangs) brushed to one side of the face or over one or both eyes, dyed black, straight hair, tight t-shirts (sometimes short sleeved) which often bear the names of emo bands (or other designer shirts), studded belts, belt buckles, canvas sneakers or skate shoeshorn-rimmed glasses. Emo fashion has changed with time. Early trends included straight, unparted hair, tightly fitting sweaters, button-down shirts, and work jackets. This fashion has at times been characterized as a fad. or other black shoes (often old and beaten up) and thick, black In recent years the popular media has associated emo with a stereotype that includes being emotional, sensitive, shy, introverted, or angsty. It is also associated with depression, self-injury, and suicide. Quoted: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emo#Fashion_and_stereotypeActually, at first, the sight of emo is not a problem with me. What freaks and pisses me is the CUTTING part. I mean, they could be that fashionable in a way that they want. Then there's this cutting part. What the heck?! I read in a website (a website that's full of lulz, and insensible things. *laughs*) that emos don't want to die, they want to get hurt, and they give a rule of the correct way of cutting - the "Down the Road, not Across the Street" (know it at your own risk). Why I don't like the cutting part: (this is to all Emo who cut themselves) If you really want to cut your wrist off, do so! Don't be proud of it because other people won't even appreciate what you're doing. Why don't you just end your life? That way, you don't need to suffer anymore and stop saying "Fix me, I'm broken." You see, you look like a freak by showing your arm with wounds from cuts. Geez. An inquest in Maidstone has heard that Hannah Bond, a 13 year-old girl from Kent, committed suicide by hanging herself - and emo music has been blamed. Quoted: http://www.nme.com/news/various-artists/36468 Well, I won't blame the Emo music genre. i don't care about that anyway. But the music do have a lot of contributions for the Emo society, right? I know you'll say that, you can't please everybody. Yeah, you can't and I don't care. Yachu-chu... Monday, June 30, 2008
And just what kind of word is that? *laughs* I can't think of any entry title for this so I just placed the first word that appeared in my mind.
I'm just updating the side corner of my blog. I added some the links of my classmates' blogs. Hm, I'm not sure if they welcome guests to stumble upon their blogs but I think it would be fine. Haha. We just had so many assignments today. Most of them needed the internet. Not it reminds me of the news needed for the English homework. Argh! I think I'll just get from Yahoo! News - my news best friend. Hahaha! But anyway, there was a news. I'm not sure if it's a good news or not especially that it deals with him. That him, whoever he is. Haha! I can be quite cold at times. Whatever! Hm, so I'll end this entry here. I need to go back. Maybe it's Gasquet's match already. As if I'll really watch it. But who knows? I might just see it on TV. Way to go Gasquet!! [My entries don't end without a fangirl claim, eh? Haha! Well, that's life!] Trial mode + some blah blah Sunday, June 29, 2008
Hm, so now I'll try my first entry.
Since we're really in the modern era, we need to use technology and that's how this blog comes alive. *laughs* You see, I'm not really a fan of blogging. I just do blogging for the sake of killing the thing called "boredom". I don't really have my own diary too, I'm just to lazy to write on it every night. [And that's the difference between a journal and a blog.] Hm, let's have a topic for today. I'm watching some pen spinning tricks in Youtube. I need to be impressed so I can actually make an article for Ang Molekyuls [our school's Tagalog organ]. I haven't made any and I need to make one or else, I'm doomed! It's my last year in CNSHS, so I need to at least pass one article. I want to see my name on our school paper. What a shallow dream. Haha! But really, I like to write sports artivle somehow. It's the easiest section in a paper. Just kidding. Everything in a newspaper or a school paper is very hard. Oh well... I already got some information about pen spinning anyway. For my other araticle, I just need to interview Michael about the GetAmped competition. After that. I'm finished! I'll just wait for the Intramurals and I'm all set! Yay! Being a senior high schooler is really being busy and all. I have a quite few activities on my hand like being an Executive Vice President for Science Club. We really have many activities and there's an upcoming overnight for the members. I'll still think of what activities we will have. *sighs* We also have research. We just went to UPLB yesterday. Commuting is really tiring. Haha! On another hand, being an officer is really fun! I love commanding my platoon. Yay! But what disppoints me is that Korean boy named Kim Jun-Sung. What the..?! He has long hair which pisses me off. He receives special treatment or that's how I see it. I mean, he's studying in our school where there is a policy that should be obeyed. We, the officers, strictly implement the proper hair cut and complete uniform and other things related. And that Korean boy doesn't even the prscribed hair cut because he was allowed. What?! Oh gosh, that really pisses me off. What I said is not a racism. It's just the thing called "being unfair". You see, I don't really care about Koreans "invading" the Philippines because the Filipino workers are being overpopulated in other countries too. [I just had too much Korea-ness in UPLB last summer.] Oh well, that's life. I just hope that the Korean boy will have a realization that he need to have a proper hair cut. Oh well. Quite long entry, right? So I'll go now. MY neck is already hurting. Haha. I'll still watch some tennis match and pen spinning stunts. I hope Richard Gasquet will reach the finals in Wimbledon! Kya~
